What is Tech?
Tech is the other side of theater that involves everything behind our productions. Not only does it involve everything that happens behind the stage during showtime, but also all of the preparation involved months before to make the production possible. If you join our pre-production crews, you get to be involved in this important preparation process and every person counts! Along with pre-production crews, we also have backstage crews who either move set pieces around for each scene, help with costumes, hair, and makeup, or be in charge of the lights and sound aspect of the show, like microphones or light changes. If you want to be a part of this amazing and inclusive part of theater, go ahead and check out the description of each crew on the "Crew Descriptions" page and see what crew would be the best fit for you!

Meet Your Tech Coordinators!
The 24-25 co-technical directors are Ella Simmon and Amelicia Johnson. Ella has been with TTC since her freshman year and started doing tech during Mamma Mia! and Amelicia joined her freshman year as well. Both of them have come so far from where they started and are very excited to work together through this school year.
