Faculty Sponsor: Jesse Ploog-Bacik
Email: [email protected] (she/her/hers) Mrs. Bacik has been teaching at Desert Vista since the 2018-2019 school year. She has a BFA in Technical Theatre Design & Production (Scenic Design/Painting) from the University of Arizona and her MEd in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. Between her Undergraduate and Masters programs, she worked in the Northern California Bay Area as a professional Scenic Designer, Scenic Painter, Stage Manager, and Production Manger. Outside of the theatre, Mrs. Bacik spends her time with her wonderful husband, her son, Finn, and her dog, Spud. Mrs. Bacik runs all of the theatre programs and classes here at DV and loves getting to work with all of our amazing students! |

Co-President: Amelia Hunter Email: [email protected] (she/her)Amelia is a senior and has been involved with TTC since her freshman year, both on and off stage. She has been a member of the costume crew all four years. As well as doing tech, she has acted in every main-stage stage performance since her first year. Some of her favorite productions include Footloose, Romeo and Juliet, and Little Women. She is so excited to act as one of TTC’s Co-Presidents this year! She has been a part of paint, publicity, costumes, and hair and makeup. Her favorite shows that’s she’s been in with TTC are Footloose (Urleen) and Little Women (Meg March). She is so incredibly excited to serve as one of your Co-Presidents this year and can’t wait to see what this year has in store |

Secretary/Historian: Alex Cloonan-Schulte Email: (she/her) Alex is a senior at DV and has been involved with TTC since her freshman year. She has acted in and done preproduction crews for many shows with TTC, most recently including Little Women and The Little Mermaid. She is so excited to be secretary/treasurer and help make this a great year for everyone! |

Publicity/Treasurer: Elyse Mooney Email: [email protected] (she/her) Elyse is a senior and has been participating in TTC since her Freshman year. She has participated in all aspects of theatre, including tech, stage managing, and acting! Some of her favorite shows she has been involved in were Footloose, and Little Women! Elyse is really looking forward to this year and what's to come. |

Co-Improv Captain: Natalie Henderson Email: [email protected] (she/her) Natalie is a senior and has been a TTC member for all four years of high school. She has done both acting and pre-production (specifically paint crew). A few of her favorite productions Natalie has been involved in were Footloose, The Last Night of Ballyhoo, and Romeo & Juliet! She is so excited to make this year a great one for both improv and theatre as a whole! |

Co-Tech Coordinator: Amelicia Johnson Email: [email protected] (she/her) Amelicia is a Junior and this is her second year on TTC council! She is incredibly dedicated to theatre and has been involved in all areas of acting and tech. She's tried out every crew and done everything from improv shows to musicals. However, her main focuses stay acting and costumes. She truly thinks there is a place in theatre for everyone and loves convincing people to join. She is looking forward to her third year in TTC and seeing all the great things the club will do |

Co-Tech Coordinator: Ella Simmon Email: [email protected] (she/her) Ella is one of the co-technical directors in TTC council. She's a junior and has been in TTC since her freshman year. She's also a mystery novel fanatic who can read a good rom-com from time to time. She has loved getting to spend most of her time in TTC with her set crew besties and can't wait to be your co-tech director for the 23-24 school year! |
