Faculty Sponsor: Jesse Ploog-Bacik
Email: jploogbacik@tempeunion.org (she/her/hers) Mrs. Bacik has been teaching at Desert Vista since the 2018-2019 school year. She has a BFA in Technical Theatre Design & Production (Scenic Design/Painting) from the University of Arizona and her MEd in Secondary Education from Arizona State University. Between her Undergraduate and Masters programs, she worked in the Northern California Bay Area as a professional Scenic Designer, Scenic Painter, Stage Manager, and Production Manger. Outside of the theatre, Mrs. Bacik spends her time with her wonderful husband, her son, Finn, and her pup, Meg (pictured). Mrs. Bacik runs all of the theatre programs and classes here at DV and loves getting to work with all of our amazing students! |
President: Bradley Ash Email: bradley.m.ash9@gmail.com (he/him) Bradley is a senior and has been performing with TTC for all 4 years at DV. His favorite roles thus far include Sam in Mamma Mia and Ed in You Can't Take It With You. Bradley enjoys things like drawing, playing basketball, and hanging with his friends. He is super excited about everything TTC has in store this year, and can’t wait to work with everyone to make it happen :))) |
Vice President: Collin Bridge Email: cbridge.dv@gmail.com (he/him) Collin is a senior and this is his fourth year at TTC! He loves all things film related but will also never give up the opportunity to bust a move on stage! He also loves hanging out with his friends and practicing his nightly standup routines. What do you call an old snow man?...water! Anyway he is super excited and can't wait to see what this year has in store! |
Historian: Ellen Culloty Email: eculloty@icloud.com (she/her) Ellen is a senior and this is her third year with TTC! Theatre is her passion and her favorite role that she's played is Boo Levy in The Last Night of Ballyhoo. Ellen is so excited to be a part of this year's council and cannot wait to bring something new to the club. Outside of theatre, her favourite thing to do is read and her favourite book is The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie by Muriel Spark. She also loves to spend as much time as possible with the people she loves doing the things she loves. |
Co-Publicity: Ria Moharil Email: riamoharil1@gmail.com (she/her) Ria Moharil is a junior at Desert Vista and has been a part of TTC for the past 3 years. She enjoys acting and being a part of paint and set crew. She is co-publicity with her bestie Amanda where she manages the social media for the club. Ria’s passion in theatre has grown over the past few years as she has been able to explore so many different elements and hopes she can make others feel the same way! <3 |
Co-Publicity: Amanda Gellman Email: mandy.gellman@icloud.com (she/her) Amanda is a junior this year and this is her 3rd year in TTC! She loves to sing and is really into costume design! She loves the color lavender and loves to write and is very english oriented! She is so excited for this year and is very excited to be doing doing publicity with Ria, who through their crazy ideas, get the job done beautifully! |
Co-Improv Captain: Theo Feela Email: theo.feela@gmail.com (he/him) Theo is a senior. This is his fifth year doing theatre and his third year with TTC. He enjoys reading, sports, and spending time outside. A fun fact about Theo is that he was born and raised in Minnesota. No, he does not have an accent. |
Co-Tech Coordinator: Sarah Hills Email: sarahhillsaz@gmail.com (she/her) This is Sarah's senior year, she's been in TTC all 4 years of high school, she loves hanging out with her friends and (her) Jordan whenever she gets the chance. She's known Bradley and Jeff since kindergarten they're like brothers to her. She also has a framed picture of her techies in her room. |

He loves Ramen and Set Building. In his free time he loves watching movies and hanging with friends. He hopes to make this year epic and he wants to thank family and friends for supporting. |
Freshman Rep: Amelicia Johnson Email: ameliciaj117@gmail.com she/her Amelicia is a freshman this year, She’s been in theatre for around 9 years now but this is her first year at TTC. She loves many forms of art such as music, paintings, and poetry but theatre is her main passion. Amelicia is thrilled to be on council this year as freshman representative! |
