SPRING PLAYS
AUDITIONS
If you are interested in AUDITIONING for the Thunder Theatre Company Spring Plays, please read and follow the instructions below!
1. Carefully read the information packet at the top of this page AND have your parent/guardian read the information as well. This packet includes audition requirements, show/rehearsal dates, etc.
2. Carefully read production contract at the top of this page AND have your parent/guardian read the contract as well.
3. Print the last page production contract - this needs to be signed by the student auditioning as well as ALL legal parents/guardians.
Once signed, take a photo of this contract as it will be submitted in your audition application below.

4. Find your audition monologue! For these shows, you are looking for a 60-90 second comedic monologue.
- This monologue should be from a published play or musical - no TV or movie monologues.
- Monologue should be completely memorized for your audition
- A slate should also be memorized for your audition which includes your full name, that title of the play and playwright, and the character being played in the monologue.
example: "Hello, today I will be portraying the character of __[insert character name]__ from the play __[insert play title]__ written by __[insert playwright]__. Thank you.

5. Record a video of you performing your slate and monologue. This should be done in ONE TAKE. No edits/cuts should be included in your final, submitted video.
6. Upload your audition video to Google Drive and make sure the sharing settings are set to "Anyone with the link can view" - if you do not do this setting change and we cannot see your audition, you may not be considered for either cast.

7. Make sure you have an accurate list of all conflicts! Talk with your parents/guardians to get a list of all appointments, vacations, etc.
8. Complete your audition application below!
Here you will submit your photo of your signed production contract, your audition video link, all of your personal info and conflicts, etc.
If you are interested in also signing up for a pre-production crew, this will happen in the same application!

& Crew Heads
If you are interested in joining a PRE-PRODUCTION TECH CREW and/or applying to be a CREW HEAD for the Thunder Theatre Company Spring Plays, please read and follow the instructions below!
1. Carefully read the information packet at the top of this page AND have your parent/guardian read the information as well. This packet includes audition requirements, show/rehearsal dates, etc.
2. Carefully read production contract at the top of this page AND have your parent/guardian read the contract as well.

4. Conflicts are not needed to join a pre-production crew. Just know that meetings are set to happen at least once a week, so make sure you have at least some time to commit to the team you are joining!
5. Complete your tech application below!
