One Acts
Spring 2026

DIRECTOR AND ASST. PRODUCER APPLICATIONS DUE FEBRUARY 17TH BY 6PM

Director Applications:

Directing applications are open to TTC members in the class of 2026 who meet the following requirements and complete the application.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:
  • ​Must be a current Senior (class of 2026)
  • Must have experience in TTC productions (acting or backstage tech) AND must have been actively involved in the current school year with TTC productions
  • Must have previously participated in at least one of our One Act Festivals
  • Must have a 2.0 overall, unweighted GPA or higher (as of Dec. 2025 report card)
  • Must have a CO-DIRECTOR (only co-directors will be accepte this year, no solo directing)
  • Must be available for auditions from 4-7pm on Tuesday, March 24
  • Must also be available for casting immediately following auditions

  • ​Cover letter & resume from EACH director
  • Answers to the Application Questions from EACH director
  • 3 script options with proposals that include:
    -- All show specifics (cast size, run time, etc.)
    -- Tentative rehearsal schedule based on this tentative availability
    -- Concept Paper: Please outline your directing style and technique as well as your concept for each show. Be sure to include any thoughts, plans, photos, etc. regarding set design, lighting design, props and costumes, etc. This is your chance to sell yourself and your vision to Mrs. Bacik, and to see what she could expect with you at the helm of one of our one acts. Asst. Producer  Applications:

For our One Act Festival, we are looking for two Asst. Producers to split the job of organizing paperwork, facilitating scheduling, working with directors and tech teams, and taking on the MAJOR responsibility of making the festival happen.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:
  • ​Must be a Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
  • Must have experience as a stage manager or crew head for a TTC Mainstage show
  • Must have previously participated in at least one of our One Act Festivals
  • Must have a 2.5 overall, unweighted GPA or higher (as of Dec. 2025 report card)
  • Must be available to attend most rehearsals throughout the entire month of this process. This role requires minimal conflicts as the producers are expected to be there daily.
