Rehearse Your Choreography and Songs-
Choose your song for your vocal audition!
When choosing your audition song, keep the following in mind:
  • YOU SHOULD ONLY PERFORM 30-45 SECONDS OF A SONG
  • Songs should be chosen from a published musical
  • This should show off your abilities! Solo songs for the show itself will be determined from these auditions!
  • Remember that the theme for the show is HOPE. This means that you should be looking for a song about hope, a song that gives you hope, a song that feels hopeful, etc. If you can tie it back to the theme, you are good to go! Part of the audition packet will be explaining why you chose this song and how you feel that it relates to this theme.
To learn the audition dance, use the following links:
  1. STEP-BY-STEP TUTORIAL -- This is where you will learn the dance with counts. You can watch this as many times as you need.
  2. FULL DANCE TO MUSIC -- This is where the choreographer covers the full dance with the music
